記者：據報道，第十二屆北京香山論壇近日在京成功舉辦，國內外輿論高度關注。請發(fā)言人進一步介紹有關情況。
Question: It is reported that the 12th Beijing Xiangshan Forum was successfully held in Beijing recently and has attracted high attention from both domestic and foreign media. Could you please provide more details?
張曉剛：9月17日至19日，第十二屆北京香山論壇成功舉辦，中央軍委副主席張又俠出席歡迎晚宴并致辭，國防部長董軍出席論壇開幕式并作主旨發(fā)言，國內外反應熱烈、高度評價。本屆論壇感召力影響力進一步提升，主要有3個特點：一是歷史承載更加厚重，未來指向更加鮮明。今年是中國人民抗日戰(zhàn)爭暨世界反法西斯戰(zhàn)爭勝利80周年、聯合國成立80周年、臺灣光復80周年，特別是習近平主席鄭重提出全球治理倡議，與會代表圍繞應對世界變局、破解世界難題，為推動改革完善全球治理體系建言獻策，匯聚以正道良策促進全球善治的正向力量。二是與會代表多元均衡，“香山精神”更有魅力。論壇秉持“平等、開放、包容、互鑒”理念，來自100余個國家、地區(qū)和國際組織官方代表、專家學者和各國觀察員1800余人齊聚一堂，不分大國小國坦誠交流，大家不是固守立場的爭執(zhí)方、而是探尋共識的參與者，不是劍拔弩張的對手、而是傾聽彼此的對話者。不少網友感言：這是只有在中國才會出現的畫面，這樣的和諧爭鳴顯得尤為珍貴。三是對話交流廣泛深入，中國主張備受關注。論壇著眼戰(zhàn)略引領性設置議題，研討話題更具現實針對性，讓各方真正論得起來、談出實效；此外，首次舉辦高端對話采訪活動、中國軍隊參加聯合國維和行動情況介紹會，安排參觀國防創(chuàng)新科技成果展等，與會代表從中感到中國軍隊越強大、世界和平越有保障。
Zhang Xiaogang: The 12th Beijing Xiangshan Forum was successfully held from September 17 to 19. General Zhang Youxia, Vice Chairman of the Central Military Commission, attended and addressed the welcome dinner. Admiral Dong Jun, Minister of National Defense, attended the opening ceremony of the forum and made a keynote speech. The forum was warmly received and well spoken of both at home and abroad. The appeal and influence of this year’s forum have been further enhanced. There are three highlights.First, the forum carried more profound historical significance and showed a clearer vision for the future. This year marks the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, of the founding of the United Nations, and of the restoration of Taiwan. In particular, President Xi Jinping formally proposed the Global Governance Initiative. Participants at the forum, focusing on addressing global challenges and resolving pressing issues, contributed ideas and suggestions to improving the global governance system, and pooled positive forces to promote global governance through constructive approaches and measures. Second, the composition of participants was diverse and balanced, making the “Xiangshan Spirit” more appealing. Adhering to the concept of “equality, openness, inclusiveness and mutual learning”, over 1,800 attendees, including official representatives, experts, scholars and observers from more than 100 countries, regions and international organizations gathered together, engaging in candid exchanges regardless of the size of their respective nations. We did not stick to fixed positions, but sought common ground; we were not confrontational rivals, but sincere interlocutors who listened to each other. Many netizens commented that this could only be seen in China, and such intense yet harmonious discussions were particularly precious. Third, the dialogues and exchanges were extensive and in-depth, with China’s propositions attracting significant attention. The topics of the forum were set to provide strategic guidance and address realistic issues, so that participants could engage in meaningful discussions and achieve real results. Additionally, for the first time, the forum organized high-end interviews, hosted a briefing on China’s Armed Forces in UN Peacekeeping Operations, and arranged participants to visit an exhibition of innovations and achievements in national defense science and technology. Attendees felt that a stronger Chinese military means greater assurance for world peace.
昭昭正道，眾行致遠。中國軍隊愿同各方一道，繼續(xù)加強戰(zhàn)略溝通，深化軍事互信，開展更高水平安全合作，為全球治理提供有力支撐，攜手構建人類命運共同體。
A just journey with many companions gets far. The Chinese military is willing to work with all parties to further strengthen strategic communication, deepen military mutual trust, and carry out higher-level security cooperation, so as to provide strong support for global governance and jointly build a community with a shared future for humanity.
